Taking into account the promising potential in the coal sector, in 2014 Karya Bumi Infratama took business opportunities in Kalimantan and Sumatra by building a port in an area of ± 14 ha in Palaran District, Samarinda, East Kalimantan.
Additionally, Karya Bumi Infratama operates three ports in Bayung Lencir District, Mangsang, South Sumatra, each covering ± 14 ha, namely Putra Muba Coal, and Indonesia Batu Prima Energi, along with Arthaco Prima Energy which is currently under development.
