The function of the port is to process the transfer from land transportation to water transportation. Coal port services include infrastructures that accommodate coal processing.
Hauling road
Hauling road is a particular road manufactured to facilitate coal distribution process. MNC Infratama’s coal port has 7 km of hauling roads, which are 8-10 meters.
Weighbridge
This facility is available for IUP holders, contractors, and buyers. Each vehicle will be weighed before and after loading to get the amount of coal transported so that each party can determine the required payment costs. MNC Infratama has a weighbridge facility with a capacity of up to 60 tons, with a length of 10 meters and a width of 3 meters.
ROM coal stockpile
While waiting for the sale process, the coal will be moved from the pit to the stockpile to maintain its quality. MNC Infratama stockpiles have a total capacity of ± 300,000 Mt.
Crushing plant
The coal may need to be cut into certain sizes to facilitate transport and optimize its usage. Raw coal mined from the pit would go through a crushing process at the crushing plant before being transported to barges. Each MNC Infratama’s crushing tool has a capacity of 500 tons per hour with a productivity rate of 1,000 MT per hour. The crushing plant can adjust the output size according to the client’s needs.
Barge loading conveyor
The final process in the port is loading the coal onto the barge. MNC Infratama’s barge loading conveyor has a capacity of up to 1,000 MT per hour.
